Since 2016, the Cinema Soup Film Festival has been serving up bold, heartfelt, and unforgettable short films from storytellers across the globe. We believe the best cinema doesn’t have to follow a recipe — if it’s powerful, funny, haunting, or genre-bending, we want a taste.

From March 27th-29th, 2026, Cinema Soup returns with a live screening event in the heart of Woodstock, Illinois (across the street from where Bill Murray stared in Groundhogs Day), hosted at the Needful Things Shop. This cozy, intimate venue provides the perfect atmosphere for real connections between filmmakers and audiences.
